Adriana hits the catwalks with wonder bra - 2008-11-21
Adriana Lima dazzled at the Victoria Secret’s fashion show on Sunday (November 15). The Brazilian supermodel caught all the glances when she appeared wearing a $5 million diamond bra , the world’s most expensive bustier. The bra matches white and black diamonds and rubies, and was designed by jeweler Martin Katz. An excited Lima commented, "I always wanted to wear the Fantasy Bra. It's the first time that Victoria's Secret makes a black diamond bra. A woman could definitely buy it if they love it and men too." Also hitting the catwalk at the legendary Fontaineblue hotel in Miami Beach were fellow beauties Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Marisa Miller and Miranda Kerr, among others. The show will air on CBS on December 3 at 10 p.m.

The Brazilian babe exudes glamour in a $5 million lingerie that enhance women’s assets. “This year’s one-of-a-kind creation, crafted by jeweler Martin Katz, contains 3,575 black diamonds, 117 certified one carat round diamonds, 34 rubies and two black diamond drops that top out at 100 carats,” reports the New York Daily News. Meanwhile, the VS angel launched the “Dream Angels Wish” perfume last week.

Adriana Lima has left the catwalks aside for a moment to try acting. The Brazilian supermodel has filmed a guest spot on TV hit Ugly Betty, where she plays herself and poses for the sizzling fashion magazine Mode. “Adriana has always been a huge fan of Ugly Betty and is thrilled for the opportunity to make a guest star appearance,” says the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s rep Liza Anderson. ‘Ugly Betty’ returns to the small screen on September 25 at 8 p.m. Other stars that have guest starred in the ABC’s show included Lindsay Lohan and Victoria Beckham.
